The TRB246 is a highly versatile industrial 4G LTE gateway designed to provide robust and reliable connectivity for mission-critical M2M and IoT applications. Its key feature is the integration of multiple interfaces into a compact design, including support for dual SIM cards with automatic switching (auto-switch) in the event of network failures, ensuring uninterrupted internet availability for remote assets. It is the ideal solution for telemetry, fleet management, and automation where interaction with both modern and legacy machinery is required simultaneously.
Technically, this device runs on the RutOS operating system, which is based on Linux OpenWrt. This enables advanced network management and industrial-grade security, with support for a wide range of protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, and DLMS. Its ruggedized aluminum chassis is capable of operating in extreme temperature ranges from -40°C to 75°C,, and also features one analog input and three configurable digital inputs/outputs for comprehensive monitoring of sensors and actuators in the field.
